I never used to be the one to ask for help...until I got to college. I attend Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences...now lets just face it, you're not going to make it through here unless you ask for help. I spent the whole first semester of college trying to adjust to the college life, consisting of homework, socializing, and partying. Lets get real the socializing and partying went out the door REAL FAST. Yea the occasional drinks one night a week, not like I really have time for that either, but everyone needs a break sometime. I got myself in a hole REAL FAST! The most simplest of things can make me feel akward, including asking teachers for help. Guess what I've got over that, had to, there was no choice. Getting by first semester by the skin of my teeth just wasn't cutting it for me. I'm out to do something in this world and I knew I needed to do something about my study habits in order to achieve my goals...so I got a tutor. The best choice I have made since I have been in college. On the first night my tutor helped me study for a bio quiz. I came out of that session feeling like I was on top of the world...finally taught my roommate something, instead of her teaching me. Here's my advice, don't wait like I did and think you can get by on your own...cause your not! Get in, get stuff done, before the stress weighs heavy and you're left with no choice, but to fold...ASK FOR SOME GUIDANCE IT WILL BE THE BEST THING YOU EVER DO IN COLLEGE...HECK IN LIFE!
